You don't hear this every day at the White House.

President Barack Obama praised retiring White House executive pastry chef Bill Yosses as the "Crustmaster" for his delicious pies, at an event Monday to celebrate LGBT Pride Month.

"We call Bill the "Crustmaster', because his pies, I don't know what he does, whether he puts crack in them," joked the President, as the crowd laughed.

A straight faced first lady Michelle Obama quickly responded, "No he doesn't. There is no crack in our pies."

Michelle made a slip of the tongue....while there is no crack "in their pies", there surely is an abundance "in their pipes".

Why is Michelle so obsessed about food and children's diets and what food grocery stores carry? Surely she should be looking out for her own fat behind before telling other people how to keep healthy. That badonkadonk of hers is epic – possibly large enough to become the 51st state – and she wants to read kids out on juice boxes?!?!

Please, woman, never publicly talk about your crack or pie.

Given Michelle's Food Nazi hobby, they have no business promoting pie of any kind.

I bet his wife has a crack in her pie.

Somebody seriously needs to make a rap out of that.

    I see both sides.....

Yes its a posiiton that represents us to the world, but on the other hand, it does show his "human" side. Its like when I saw Clinton playing the sax on late night. Part of me was against it, but part of me also enjoyed it.

Overall, whether you are an Obama fan or not, I believe this is what everyone loves to call a "non-issue."

OK. So, there's no crack in her pie.
But, is there any pie in her crack?

They say the chef adds his very own super special "crust" to give it that pop.

THIS is news! Thank you CNN for keeping the world's best stories at our fingertips.

Why did you click on it then? Why weren't you clicking on the stories YOU wanted to read?

You do realize that, by clicking on this article, you helped make it more popular, and helped signal to CNN that you want more stories like this right?

You contribute to the very problem you complain about. F-ing moron.

Sorry... But the Presidential office is our representative to the World... The highest diplomatic office in the country and this kind of casual comment is garbage. No, I don't like Obama but I detested bush.

And another great moment in US Presidential History...

This guy makes Carter look effective, Nixon look honest and Ford look graceful.

And Dubya still looks like an International war criminal. You're reaching really badly in your pathetic effort to make something of this nothing.

mpasse, you sound like a typical lefty moron: as soon as anyone criticizes Obama, you childishly spout off about Bush as if that automatically absolves the current failure in the White House of any sins. Can your little brain understand that many people think Bush was a bad president and ALSO think that Obama is a bad president? Or can you not comprehend that those two thoughts can exist simultaneously in one brain?

So you are agreeing that not only was Bush a terrible President, but sometimes a buffoon.

I'm a white man, East Coast, with an M.A. I voted for Obama twice- I thinks he's been a fine President. I'd voted for him again. The clowns the "other" party offered are barely worth mentioning, let alone remembering.

Not understanding your meaning.....does your race, educational background, and geographical location make your vote more important than someone else's?

        Then what's the point?

        July 2, 2014 at 5:23 am |
        • Carn E. Vore

VladT, he's simply stating that race, education, and location have no bearing on whether you're an informed voter or just another sheep lining up to vote for the two partys that are killing our country.

Your grandparents must have owned slaves for you to admit to voting for Obama out of 'black guilt', Too bad he has been useless as boobies on a duck in both of his terms. Nice going educated white guy – you thought you could fix all the injustice by voting for a black man despite his lack of qualifications and experience....hows that working out for you?

No, the media is simply reporting more non-moments in history than they did back in the days of Nixon, Ford or Carter.

      July 2, 2014 at 7:36 pm |
      • jackson

There was no internet back in the days of Nixon, Ford or Carter. If there had been, these stories would have been printed then as well. But, by all means, continue your talking points without worrying about the truth.
