In the aftermath of the massive Rim Fire that started in August 2013 near Yosemite National Park, rare and expensive morel mushrooms have hunters on the prowl.
Boy...what a waste of delicious morels. You'd think there would be some way the forest service could send teams of well-trained workers into the less dangerous areas to pick them. Morel sales would fill the forest service's coffers a lot quicker than a bake sale!
