You'll see by midweek,it's an early present from Texas. :))
I think I know the answer, but where are you that it's not?
Eggnog doesn't start with.........Oh never mind.
Geez, can't even say "p!ssed", so I changed it to "wet". Still modded?
I guess I need a copy of "the list".

Guess who is making Miso soup and Salmon Yakiniku for diner? Somebody here woke craving up a week ago...
I mean dinner. Curse you sticky keyboard, time to run you through the dishwasher.
Ok darlin', spill it. How was the movie?
Enquiring minds want to know...
Ok, the first comment on this link is hysterical, but very true if you have ever visited the area:
http://neighbors.denverpost.com/viewtopic.php?p=3232550&postvote=up&no_increase_views=1&postvoteorder=1#p3232550
Agree!!
The Denver comPost is my other online hangout...
My least favorite ex-con: http://www.buzzfeed.com/rachelzarrell/someone-needs-to-tell-martha-stewart-her-food-tweets-are-dis
TURRIBLE
Someone needs to get that non-chef old lady a better camera/ better smart phone.
I think this food photography is representative of her true self.
She needs to stick to arts and crafts.
I've seen more appetizing stuff in diapers.
That just sounds wrong and so many levels.
ok, now THAT is the line of the day!
Just had to lie to the colleagues as to why I just burst out laughing...
What the hell's up with Colorado and all the pot busts recently? Along with Washington, I thought they had that figured out by now.
I saw that yesterday, and did not pay a whole lot of attention. MMJ is not my thing, but I think that since the door is partially open until January, we will see more of this sort of thing. It is amusing to see the various laws being worked out. This week's big one was if you should be allowed to smoke in your front yard. Much ado over nothing.
Yeah, same here in Wa. Big hurdle here seems to be levels of intoxication. At what point are you "impaired". Well, that and whether or not you'll be able to buy it Safeway or 7/11.
Here's a New one for you….Move to Texas. If you are stopped by the Polices, refuse to take a Breathalyzer test or giving up a Blood Test…You can now get a Plea Deal called " Obstruction of the Highway ". If you are Good Boys and don't get in trouble for a 6 month probationary period…the DWI will Never show up on your record. Gotta luv the legalize of some of these lawyers. :))
Don't know if it's changed, but when I as a kid, you could drink and drive in Texas. You couldn't be drunk, but you could drive. I remember my uncle always had a little Morton salt shaker in his truck for his PBR.
Yep, It's finally changed since DAMM–Drunks Against Madd Mothers was broken up.
I learned how to drink and drive in Texas.
North Carolina had laws similar to Texas. That is why the Brew-Thru got so popular. In fact when the open container law went in effect, Brew-Thru gave a free cup to the driver to skate that law. I got my Masters in D&D there. Yeee- Haaaa! and Bless Brew-Thru.

Holy sh!t! Did that bring back memories. I still have my Big Bamboo album complete with the giant rolling paper.
"Hey! Can you pigs give us a push?!"
Story link?
Was out for a bit but what's up with the name change. Need some Depends?
Changed it on one computer yesterday, so depends on which one I'm at, lol. Is just temporary, an honorable mention to a flamer in the Food Bank thread that called me "Mcdizzlesh*tyourpants" or something
Actually it was JizzleMcMonkeynuts. I about wet (stoopid ModBotz) myself when I saw that:)
Actually it was JizzleMcmonkeynuts. I about wet myself when I saw that.
Who's up for re-election?
John Holmes, Harry Reams, and the Triple DDD alumni, along with Linda Lovelace.
Holy cow you are really pulling out some classics there. Cherry Potter wasn't even born yet!!!
Re-er3ction? So soon? ~_~
I had a V-8.
Eight? Not too shabby.
Good morning and happy frigid Friday to everyone!
Good morning everyone! T-G-I-F! I have been off work for two weeks now (and not for fun stuff), but just got the go ahead to return to work tomorrow from the doc! Never thought I would be so happy for that one! :)
Glad to be home today though...45 mph winds at the house today, yikes!
Any big Thanksgiving plans??
45 mph winds??? Nancy Pelosi was getting rid of some gas,I believe. :))
Ha ha! How are you my BFF (best food friend)?? :)
Happy to hear things are looking up for you. Don't know the circumstances, but I've been in that place where I thought I was never going to get better. When it was finally over even my Dr. told me he thought was going to lose me. Without family and friends, I might have given up. Sounds like you have both and you're a lucky girl.
Happy Friday! Brrrr 18 degrees here!
Wow, and here I'm complaining about 28 degrees. Yikes!
Yeah it was 15* this morning on the way to work.
If I recall, Snowbunny lives about an hour west of me.
Go PACK! Beat the Vikings!
I have no interest in that game, realistically or Fantasy Football-wise
I know the Packers are a sore spot with you. Not intended to be a below the belt hit.
Not really. I just like it when we crush them =) It has been that way since the nineties, but I have reason to relish the victories even more knowing someone out there knows I'm gloating inside, savoring the pain. LOL – otherwise, I couldn't care less how they do. So long as the Niners beat, nay – SPANK, them every time.
Good Morning Kidz….on a sad and solemn Friday that a lot of us will Never forget. Please take time today to remember The End of the Innocence,When a Nation was forced to start anew.
Agreed, but there is no way that Oswald acted alone.
Just came across an interesting book called "If Kennedy Lived" by Jeff Greenfield. Talks about what type of agenda he would have faced in his second term. Interesting stuff.
I think he was in cahoots with the Russians, myself. Oswald that is. Oswald was a former U.S. Marine who defected to the Soviet Union in October 1959. He lived in the Soviet Union until June 1962, at which time he returned to the United States.
But with the tension building with the Soviets, there was no way we were going to point the finger at them and set off nuclear war.
My theory.
Thanks for the book recco. Its fiction, but the Steven King book is really interesting: http://112263book.com/
An interesting movie that was released without a lot of fanfare on Nov.5th-–PARKLAND. It was produced by Tom Hanks and Bill Paxton. They somehow were allowed to film inside Parkland Hospitals Trauma Room 1 & 2,which has been blocked off from public view for years. It revolves around the Hospital staff,The Secret Service, The CIA and Abraham Zapruder..
For those of you wondering what it was like in Dallas on this fateful day…go to http://www.wfaa.com at 12:30 p.m.CDT today. They will be live streaming on the Internets their original programming as word got out about the assassination of our President. It will show the chaos, the assumptions and the sorrow of Dallas. I grew up 11 miles from downtown Dallas and remember we only had 3 T.V. stations at that time….Channel 4–KRLDTV….Channel 5…an NBC station located in Ft. Worth and channel 8…an ABC affiliate, located in downtown Dallas.
Good morning all, and Happy Friday!
Anyone have big weekend plans?
Just the usual, really. But...today is the last day before my "stay-cation" next week. Just having the time off will be wonderful, I already reserved a few library books and my to-do list is very short for a change.
You?
Haven't been around in a long time, but I -was- Noxious Sunshine (the name got shortened by friends elsewhere and it stuck).. And I forgot my login info here... It's good to be back and see everyone, though!
Things have been nuts lately, though... I moved to Texas to be with my parents after my dad had his latest heart attack out in Sacramento and they were forced to retire from truck driving for good. They were hauling military equipment for the government (leased to LandStar Ranger),.. My ex-fiancée broke up with me right after I moved, but then I met someone new, moved back to Tennessee, and now we're moving to NYC...
lol sorry for the long update, but there it is!
Really lovely to see you pop up! Warms the cockles and all.
the cockles. I just lol'd
What's a cockle?
Good morning and welcome back! Glad to hear you've happily landed on your feet!
The word "c0ckles" sparked up my gutter-dar. ~_~ Maybe Turth™ will select that for today's WOD.
haha cockles. Still funny.
Thanks!
I'm back from my road trip into the office today, back to my happy home office with a furry cuddled next to me.
A couple of things I heard on the radio that reminded me of some of our Flamenons:
1. AleeD, the whiskey you sampled on vacation is also prominently featured in a song by Florida Georgia Line. (And I haven't gotten it out of my head since)
2. Heard about a place in North Carolina, a restaurant for dogs:

That's all, folks!!!
Howdy ho from a wet, soggy southern California.........."Rain Drops Keep Falling on my Head....."
"It never rains in California,oh girl don't they warn ya"
"Like!"
it pours, man, it pours
Awesome road-trip song. Hit play below, close your eyes, choose your mental road-trip. Where you going?

The looney bin
Sorry, but I'd drive off a cliff if I had to listen to that while driving.
Good morning all from the snow globe that is Denver this morning...
I'm actually a little jealous. Being an ex-southern Californian, this snow thing is still somewhat of a novelty to me. I'm sure it'll wear off though.
Trust me Bro, if you had my commute this morning, it would wear off REALLY quickly...
Point well taken. My commute is 30 miles each way, so I'm sure it'll be a b!tch when it does come.
What happened to: Hey boss, my driveway is so bad its going to take a few hours to clear the snow drifts just so I can open the garage door?
Oh, you are the boss. that sucks :)
Not until the little kid in you dies. :)
*LIKE!* Thanks for the reminder Bro!
*cough* Seventy *cough* two *cough, cough* here.
Something in your throat?
Trying not to sound too happy with the gargantuan number of degrees here. Wouldn't want to have people thinking I'm a brat or something. ;)
Iiiii see what you did there:)

Good morning!!!
Good morning all!
It appears that fall officially ends today in Colorado. Highs of fifty five today are to be followed by snow tonight. Should make for a fun commute tomorrow.
His everyone doing today?
Snow snow snow! I want lots of snow this winter! Santa: Please send DC lots of SNOW!!!!
Had our first good freeze last night. BRRRRR!
Bah, Seattle has moderate temps and rain fall about equivalent to the DC metro area. It is a unique macro-climate.
People of Washington state don't tan, they rust.
Washington is one of my most favorite playgrounds. It's one of the few places I know of where you can go skiing in the morning and work your tan on the beach in the afternoon.
Yup. Snowmobiling in April. Was just kind of a shock to have to go find the ice scraper this morning. I guess I can't complain-we had an awesome summer.
You were talking about the weather? I thought you were talking about a Rumrunner. ;)
Hehe!
Tired... you?
Morning, it must be Wednesday because my morning is conference calls 8-12:30. Yuck.
I hope everyone is having a better day!
Due to a heavy influx of calls…We must put you on Hold. Please Do Not hang up…..and enjoy our selection of Christmas music…We begin with Grandma got run over by a Reindeer. Have a Great Day.
Funny you should mention that song...I made the comment to a friend last week how its not Christmas time until you hear that song...but turns out he'd never heard it. I think he's the one person on earth who hasn't...lucky soul.
Shades of the TV series, "House of Cards" – great Net Flix series, I'm looking forward to the new season.
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2013/11/19/congressman-charged-with-cocaine-possession/?hpt=hp_t2
Love that show, waiting for the next season.
Yo biotches! We got back to the homestead last nite. What a ride just to get our S&M license renewed, but 3 days in Cayo Hueso is always worth it. Whew! Good times. Raised my Rumrunner level back to where is belongs. Had my first shot of Fireb@ll Whiskey – chilled. It's good if you like s!n-amon – bad if you like whiskey. Couldn't taste the conch fritters after that one. :)
What's been going on in the lounge?
Welcome back! The dungeon's a cold and lonely place when you're gone.
As for Fireb@ll-yuck.
Ah, it's good to have friends in low places – on so many levels. ~_~
Fireball: if you're going to drink whiskey, drink whiskey. If you want a fiery s!n-amon beverage, drink Goldschlager.
Amen, Sista! I'll stick to whiskey.
Was it at least a crack shot?
touche'
HA! Nope. That would have been a frozen crack shot. I would have enjoyed it, but he wouldn't have.
What's not to enjoy!?!?!
How would you propose to have your crack frozen sir?
Comedy Central
http://www.comedycentral.com/video-clips/ycjdk7/chappelle-s-show-tyrone-biggums-crack-intervention
The shot may be neat or cold, I was more referring to the delivery vessel.
I was thinking more about outside the, um, box.
Greetings and salutations from the Pacific Northwest! Still no snow, just rain, rain, rain.
Good morning! Happy to report that Dad enjoyed his birthday surprise and the cupcakes.
Its chilly here in the Northeast as well, but as of now, no snow or other yuckiness in the forecast, so far, anyway!
Good morning all, from a brisk and chilly Denver. Snow expected on Thursday, with expected snowfall of 3-5". Nothing too major yet.
Worst.
Idea.
Ever.
Somebody needs to be shot for this...

I have the song "Sometimes When We Touch" stuck in my head. You are welcome.
Had to look up all the lyrics but I resisted the temptation to post them here. You're welcome back!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IATz8ZVTALo
I read Monkey….It says, Thank Goodness you were NOT listening to ABBA. Your Welcome.
You ask me if I love you, and I choke on my reply
Id rather hurt you honestly than mislead you with a lie
And who am I to judge you on what you say or do
Im only just beginning to see the real you
And sometimes when we touch
The honesty's too much, and I have to close my eyes and hide
I wanna hold you till I die
Till we both break down and cry
I want to hold you till the fear in me subsides
Romance and all it's strategy leaves me battling with my pride
But through the insecurity some tenderness survives
Im just another writer, still trapped within my truths
A hesitant prize fighter, still trapped within my youth
And sometimes when we touch
The honesty's too much, and I have to close my eyes and hide
I wanna hold you till I die
Till we both break down and cry
I want to hold you till the fear in me subsides
At times I'd like to break you and drag you to your knees
At times I'd like to break through and hold you endlessly
At times I understand you, and I know how hard you've tried
Ive watch while love commands you
And Ive watched love pass you by
At times I think we're drifters, still searching for a friend
A brother or a sister, but then the passion flares again
And sometimes when we touch
The honesty's too much, and I have to close my eyes and hide
I wanna hold you till I die
Till we both break down and cry
I want to hold you till the fear in me subsides
Slow day at the office, huh?
REE TIRE MINT!!!!
Did ya see your new name over on the food bank thread?
No. Been avoiding that thread since the weekend. I was coming off as ruthless, lol
Because this is the type of person she really is:
behold her blog
http://marisaleemiller.blogspot.com/
Lol! Yeah, I'm definitely done with that one. Can only beat a deceased equine for so long.
Good lord. I finally looked at her blog. This women is Batsh!t crazy!
Good morning! Yay Giants, yay Denver!
I hope everyone had a great weekend, today is Dad's birthday and I'm planning a surprise for him at his rehab facility where he's getting physical therapy. He's had a tough year and this is just what is needed.
Have a good week!
Tell Dad, HAPPY BIRTHDAY from all of us. BTW…How 'Bout them Cowboys ? They didn't play so they couldn't lose. Yay !!
That's just as bad as what the Jets coach said yesterday, "we even lost on our bye week".
I'll pass along your birthday wishes!
Yay Seattle! 10-and-1. Plus we get a by week.
Yay! 6-4 and struggling for wild card!
Doh!
All of the Fresh Butterball Turkeys have been watching and working out to my Fitness videos. That's why you won't find a Fresh Butterball Turkey over 16 lbs. this year. BWAAAAAAAAHahahaha….Take that Fatties.
