Not really "homemade," but I have made the manischewitz matza ball soup mix for two different friends to get them through their colds. Wish I knew how to cook from scratch ( or cook at all ), but yeah, for me, a hot bowl of tomato soup with a grilled cheese is perfect for this weather.
