Pssst! Got a sec to chat? We are utterly thrilled when readers want to hang out and talk – whether it's amongst themselves or in response to pieces we've posted. We want Eatocracy to be a cozy, spirited online home for those who find their way here. Consider the daily Coffee Klatsch post as your VIP lounge – the primary comments thread for readers who'd like to chat about topics not related to the articles we're running. That way, everyone knows where to find each other, and each post's comments section remains on topic. |

Good morning! Good afternoon! Good evening! HEEEEELLLLOOO RH! Work has been keeping me on my toes, and that isn't easy to do these days. Did I miss anything fun, exciting, interesting?? I have 1/2 hour before next meeting...
Must be nice having Bankers Hours. :)) Hey,Chumarinos–There is an online petition to try and force the USDA from using Pink Slime Meat in School Lunches throughout the country. This stuff was made originally to be used in Dog Food and thanks to our Government is now being used in school lunches. Please visit http://WWW.change.org/petitions/tell-usda-to-stop-using-pink-slime-in-school-lunches: Speaking of Government..Just found out Obozo is visiting Houston tomorrow. Hope I get home early enough to miss ALL the backed up traffic on the HiWays.:((
Doooooh-moderated over the word pet ition. ModBot Boobie Suckers.
Thank You Fearless Leader. :))
Back in 1990, I was briefly with a sort of girl whom I never brought home to meet Mom. Lady made Paris Hilton look like a rank amateur. Today, I was on amind-numbingly boring conference call,so I was fishing on the Google and found her FB profile. Her "likes" include her local PTA, Scholastic Book Clubs, and Kashi cereal.
Thomas Wolfe was DEFINITELY right, when he said "You can't go home again"...What is more scary is where, and how quickly the last twenty years went past.
I understand DEEPLY! Wait until you can look back on over 40 years of (you hope) fairly well lived adulthood. You will wonder, and despair, at how short life is.
Amen, Bro. It was 1992.
In March of that year, I was at the 2-year mark of being married to my first mistake ... uh, I mean, husband. At that time I wrestling with myself as to whether I was happier with him or without him. By September of that year, I had my mind made up: without. Definitely without. Then I started getting my ducks in a row to get divorced.
*shudder* That was a whole other life ago.
I have those moments, but mostly for my childhood. It seemed like everything was so certain when I was a kid, then things suddenly turned into a chaotic mess.
I'm still not sure how that happened.
micturate – verb \ˈmik-chə-ˌrāt, ˈmik-tə-\
mic·tu·rat·ed mic·tu·rat·ing
Definition
\intransitive verb\
ur!nate
— mic·tu·ri·tion noun

If you feel so inclined, use it in a sentence.
Give me a minute, I need to go and micturate.
Micturate: a very underrated but highly necessary operation.
Why is this our word of the day? Are we having some... problems?
Nope, no problems in that area. All clean & green here – so to speak. :D
Please read my first Klatsch post today. I thought I was being zombie-botted for using my new word but turns out it was just a cookie thing. Yesterday, I cleaned out my cookies. Today I had to type in my faux email address and forgot I can't use g o d smackrules anymore ... so it didn't post. Changed it to metallicarules and now all's well that posts well.
Sure. Whatever you say. ;)
Mmmmm. Coooooookies.
HA!!! What a Golden opportunity to Shower us with your creative word-smithing skills. Impressive!
The talent is just leaking out around here. Hed up to the top of the thread for more from my friend John. Do it before you go home to the wife and kidneys.
QOE once told me that you two were a 5. For both, I believe urinate.
Nytol!
Om swastyastu, Chums.
The weather is nice my way, how is yours?
Balinese: "We are always safe" Proper reply is also OM Swastyastu.
You got it.
Hi, everyone. JJ, hope you feel better soon. Today should be almost 70 here in NY, a bit windy but that just reminds me of Aruba.
Thanks! I'm suppose to head to NYC this weekend for some time with the soon to be in-laws...hoping that I won't be have to count on motrin 800 to get thru it...

Are you sure it wasn't AleeD who had you tied down...?
Decisions, decisions....Do I look on or reach for the bleach?
Nope! Tweren't me. Work's busier than a one-armed man at a wallpapering contest. I think Sir Bid likes to set the bonding machine to "autobond."
Doesn't anyone want to know what my new word is .... anyone .... Buuuueller? :D

Good Morning Happy Klatschers! Soooo very sorry to hear about your pain, JJ. IB's and cold packs will help. On the bright side, the dress shop will have to take IN your dress. :D
In theory I'll have the final crown the week before the wedding so I'll be walking around eating ice cream and kit kats in an attempt to get everything fitting the right way
Good morning all. Sorry to hear about the jaw pain there JJ. Hope things recover quickly.
