Celebrity chef Paula Deen and her brother are named in a sexual and racial harassment lawsuit filed by a former employee, according to a civil complaint obtained Monday by HLN. The complaint, filed in Superior Court of Georgia's Chatham County, home to Deen's Lady & Sons and Bubba’s Seafood and Oyster House eateries in Savannah, says Lisa T. Jackson ended her five-year stint as general manager at Bubba's in August 2010 because of numerous alleged acts of violence, discrimination and racism. An attorney representing Deen told The Daily Report on Monday that the allegations are false. The attorney said, “We investigated those claims and attempted unsuccessfully to address those claims with her. She made, prior to filing the lawsuit, baseless and inflammatory allegations threatening Ms. Deen’s reputation and the reputation of her businesses unless a sum of money was paid to her." Is she a racist? who knows....sexist? who knows...If it goes to court maybe they can sort it out....but I have worked in many places serving and cooking food when I was growing up, there is always a lot of sex and talk about sex. Who knows what this woman believes what sexism is.

I do not believe she is racist. She has had black people on her show and one of them was a good friend of hers... I think this person is just trying to get money and why does everything have to be about money... getting money.
You mean like the charming Paula Deen pushing that murderous diet on millions of fans, knowing she had Type 2 diabetes from it, and waiting to get a big pay day from a pharmaceutical company, before she revealed her food could kill you? Is that the money you're talking about?
Her face is a Sexual Harassment suit all by itself.
Many, many African-Americans constantly use the n-word out in public for everyone to hear...if they don't want people using that word, they should stop using it themselves.
1. Southern people are not more racist than Northerners. People in the South are just less likely to bother hiding it.
2. I live near a blk neighborhood. We take the long way around that neighborhood because young blks, mostly men, yell stuff at our cars, say thing like "Where you going, white boy?" "Stop the car, Crac ka." We have several blk owned businesses that not only will not hire white people, but most won't do business with whites.
Yet, people still think whites are the only racists.
Whites aren't the only racists– they are overwhelmingly the most powerful, and abusive. Have you considered that your skulking around and your hateful demeanor would get your white self thrown into jail, if the tables were turned? Don't let all your white go to waste. Take your hate and hang out with your buddies, instead of making up lies and conjuring stories about people you don't know?
