Maybe you’re part of that now infamous 1 percent. Or maybe you just feel that New Year’s Eve, like your prom, is going to be the single best time of your life. Here are some amazing opportunities for you to shine bright, including a truly epic NYE party.

Ultra Party Snack
If you think New Year's Eve means the chance to bling things up even higher, the folks at Berco’s popcorn have got your number. They’re the proud creators of Billion Dollar Popcorn, tossed with flecks of gold leaf and on sale for $100 a quart. From Berco's website: “Now you get to do things like wear a crown without anyone questioning it. Just don’t go thinking you can fly or burn down a castle okay?”

Ultra Party Booze
Maybe "party booze" isn’t the best way to describe the just-released Macallan in Lalique IV: 60 Years Old. It’s the fourth in the pricey Macallan/Lalique series. (If you’ve got this collection going, I need to hear from you.) Here are some more significant details: Only 400 of them were made; and the price tag is about $20,000.

Ultra Outstanding Party Scene
Last year, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas decided to launch their new resort with one of the best ever New Year's Eve parties, featuring a show by Jay-Z and Coldplay with friends like Kanye West and Beyonce. (This is the place where Jay-Z told the audience, “I wish I was you,” seeing such a great show; he also thanked all the celebrities in attendance for not acting "bougie.") This year, the Cosmopolitan is going old school, with an awesome Stevie Wonder concert; no doubt there will be more well-behaved celebrities.

Ultra Healthy
If you don’t want to wait until 2012 to start a juice cleanse, I don’t think we’ll be spending much time together. But for those who do want to ring in the New Year in the most in-your-face-healthy way as possible, Organic Avenue’s three-day cleanse costs $250. There doesn’t seem to be a special juice to drink at midnight; maybe an enterprising cleanse company can create that for next NYE.

Ultra Off the Grid
Once again, perhaps, "ultra off the grid" isn’t the best way to describe the black tie party at The Ahwahnee in Yosemite Park in California. Their Dinner Dance Celebration Package Theme: Whimsical Garden includes 2 tickets to the New Year’s Eve gala and a portrait sitting, and starts at $1584 for 2 nights.

If you want to rough it, so to speak, Yosemite Lodge has dinner for 2 at the mountain room and a live band starting at $780 for 2 nights. No portraits, although maybe you can get some photos backstage with the band, afterwards.

Do I really want to know what a juice cleanse is? And would it really do any good besides make me feel like I've done something healthy when I probably didn't do jack?

  3. Childrens Children

Why dont all you people who sucked up all the education funds. And now wont break with any of the cash you make, donate to a school and help the kids who will soon be old enough to remember .All the education cuts put upon them. Tax yourself, not the children!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! $20,000 booze- I dont mind if your rich, I do mind if you dont want to pay your share........
