We want Eatocracy to be a cozy, spirited online home for those who find their way here. I know you usually play metal, but my mind is really wanting some Trans-Siberian Orchestra....
Here you go darlin'
Seems DJCP is absent today...

Wooooow! Here I am sitting quietly noodling (doodling) on my pc when I get my SOCKS BLOWN OFF! Yowza! Pardon me while I tip my chair back upright and straighten up my clothes.............
Nice job on the request and the choice. TSO is a knockout band any time of year.
Those folks do know how to put a tune or two together. Hard to not listen that that at full volume. :)
Thank you soooo much!! I had never seen the show, but felt like I had just been there. Amazing and this was the song I wanted to hear. :)
Thanks, but dang!! I forgot I can't see/hear this at work... I was looking at thier schedule because I would love to go see a show, but alas, they will not be in our area this holiday. :( They will be in the Denver area I believe! :)
While searching for coffee blogs on Google I came across this site. Fascinating reading although I don't understand a lot of the US based conversation. Over here in NZ , we are celebrating our cricket team beating Australia for the first time in Australia for 26 years....not bad huh?
Well welcome to our little clubhouse here! I believe you might be our first international visitor. Not sure how exciting the cricket thing is, there was a post last week about crickets in a lollipop though. :)
Regardless of the sport, it sounds like something real cool. I'd be jazzed up if I beat some team that everyone thought was some untouchable juggernaut *COUGH*patsgiantssuperbowl*COUGH*
Either way, welcome to the Klatsch, Daizee!
Note to self: Next year do not, I repeat do not attempt to put reindeer antlers on Odie. Burn that to memory please.
I'll bite. What happened to Odie's antlers? Gots pix?
No pictures...apparantly cats do like to be dressed up! He hissed and spit and probably would have scratched my eyes out if he could....not a pretty sight.
Good morning sunshines! Well, there's no sunshine here today, it's raining buckets of kittens and puppies outside!
I have some fudge scraps for everyone....why just the scraps you ask?? Because the pretty pieces are on the UPS truck going to Phoenix for mom! :)
Also have some Fleur de Sel caramel sauce I don't know what to do with....they were supposed to be caramels but I guess I didn't let the sugar get hot enough. Going in for a 2nd attempt tonight.
If all else fails: Cheesecake!!!
Caramel cause goes great over chocolate ice cream.
If it's thick enough, dip some Granny Smifs into it!
"Caramel sauce"
I liked the Caramel Cause better!! LOL The Caramel Cause, our mission is to make the world a better place through caramel.
We could say the Caramel Cause is an offshoot of Occupy Caramel. (:
I look forward to the day I get to meet you so I can give you world's biggest bear hug. :) I've been having one chr@ppy Christmas season this year. But you? You put the JbJingles right back into my Belles. Thank you sweet lady!
Awww, I would love to meet you! We really do need a Klatsch Secret Supper... Sorry you are having a bad holiday so far, but hey there is still time to salvage it!! :)
I am being moderated, me?? I usually don't even come close to saying bad things. Hmph
Thanks! It is pretty thick but it is in the fridge... I think some vanilla ice cream is in order now that we have our fridge back in order!
We gotz any skettie with eyetalian sausage left? I'm Hungry.
Nope, he opted to eat my short ribs instead (that doesn't sound right does it?)....even though they burned a little...
Sounds like y'all need to take this to the dungeon. On your way, grab Sir Biddle and take him with you. We need to see if we can get rid of his "burning feeling."
It's mortality review day, boys and girls! Yeah, it's just as fun as it sounds, don't be jealous.
Go IU!!!!!!
Got MULK ? We can beat these guys shooting left handed while betting on the horses at Churchill Downs.
Hey, too cool....my Grandma graduated from Baylor. LONG time ago.
We are Wacko in Waco...:))
Color me incredulous. It sounds like a review of patients who made it out of the hospital alive and those who didn't. What is the result the review? Do you get the "work smarter not harder" speech? Do you have to promise to better next year? WTF?

Nothing as exciting as that. Basically, every hospital is playing a numbers game. It's all about your mortality index; observed vs. expected deaths. We do these reviews to make sure that our documentation reflects the seriousness of the patient condition thus raising our number of expected deaths. We're also looking to see if we did everything possible to ensure a dignified and comfortable death.
This just in. "Romney offered to bet Perry $10,000 he was right. That is all.
Good morning all, and many congrats to Bro RichHead on our nosepicks for the week. We done good!
On the same subject, I will come up with some quality nosepicks later this week, but I am right now as busy as a one armed wallpaper hanger who has a bad case of crabs. I am leaving for NY on Thursday, and need to get a week's worth of work done beforehand. Will be checkig in only sporadically.
Party on gang!
We BAD, We BAD, Oh Yea....WE BAD....:))))
I believe WE are 4-0 on NFL NosePicks....Hahahahahaha....That is ALL.
I was with Jerv and Dallas, guess I missed an easy week with picks last week.
I was trying to help You and Queenie get out of the cellar. It's Truth's turn this week if he checks in...
Me likey the cellar!
GREAT Monday morning! It's supposed to rain like he(( here today! Cheers! We need the rain!
Good morning one and all! Hoping to have a slightly less crazy week but we shall see what the boss(es) have in store for me.
Waiting for one last gift to ship and then I will be officially done with the holiday shopping :-D
Good Morning Klatsch! How is everyone doing today?
Cold in VA but an otherwise fine day here. Hey, have you heard any of Robin Thicks music?
Nope. Can't say that I have.
"Indiana, our Indiana, Indiana, we're all for you.
We will fight for the cream and crimson, for the glory of old IU.
Never daunted, we cannot falter in the battle, we're tried and true.
Indiana, our Indiana, Indiana, we're all for you!"
Kentucky su cks!!!!!!
So you get Lucky with a 3 pointer at the buzzer...IU= LOSERS.
Might I remind that we were doing pretty darn good up until that point too. You know, there is a reason that Kentucky is abbreviated KY.
Good Morning Crew!
Morning SirB. Did you see that Greenbay game?
I peaked here and there when I could, but I was on Dad duty. After being gone a week, I couldn't complain. 49's surprised me though. How goes it in Richmond?
WTH? They lost to Arizona? Never saw that one coming. Getting cold here. I caught word that my boss is retiring soon. I bet we end up with a real nazi. Well, all good things...
Thats the way it usually works. My previous boss was awesome and I miss him. Current boss is an insecure, micromanaging, control freak who keeps everyone in the dark. She's kissed @ss to get where she is and the sad thing is, I don't see her going anywhere anytime soon.
Guys, Iz gotz low friendz in high places .... or is that the uddah way around ..... ?
Good morning and welcome back! Did you and San Fransisco treat each other well?
You "peaked"? Iiiiiiiinteresting. ~_~
SF was pretty good, low key and nothing too crazy. While I am fairly certain I could have found trouble, I didn't even look. Anything happen last week?
Why yes as a matter of fact. On Wed last week, we were all marveling at the great picture of you that Kat & SLT posted.
HA!!! Lovely shot of me enjoying tea. And here I thought that burning feeling last Wednesday was something else, ends up it was all the love from here in my absence.
:)))))
Good morning everyone. It is in the 40s here in VA. Pretty cold. Mega MIllions is up to 116 million. Boooraah!
Hey there mon ami! How was your weekend? Run over any trolls at the mall?
Great weekend. I make it a personal mission to stay as far away from the mall as I possibly can. I actually live by a mall and the traffic this time of year is horrendous. Did you have any family over for the weekend?
No I didn't. In fact, it quite the opposite and I was alone all weekend. Why do you ask?
Just being nosey. Hehe.
;) No, no company. Hubby was home from his Toronto trip late Friday nite. We played together Saturday. Then, Sunday morning I put him on another plane to Hot-lanta for an overniter. Yeah, I'm over his business travel cr@p. Fortunately this his last trip for the year.
Were you a football potato all weekend?
Oh heck yeah. In front of the bo ob tube the entire weekend. Loved it. What's up with that bomb post?
HA! That's what I did last nite: caught up on some TV time.
The bomb and the Eye Witness post , I don't know. Maybe one of the regs needed to vent anonymously.
Here's a quote from a government employee who witnessed a recent interaction between an elderly woman and an antiwar protester.
There were protesters at the grocery store handing out pamphlets on the evils of America . I politely declined to take one.
There was an elderly woman behind me and a young (20-ish) female protester offered her a pamphlet, which she politely declined. The young protester put her hand on the old woman's shoulder as a gesture of friendship and in a very soft voice the young lady said, "Lady, don't you care about the children of Iraq ?"
The old woman looked up at her and said:
"Honey, my father died in France during World War II, I lost my husband in Korea , and a son in Vietnam .. "
"All three died so a b itch like you could have the right to stand here and badmouth our country. If you touch me again, I'll stick this umbrella up your a ss and open it."
Good morning everybody. High of 80; low around 64; foggy with a 30% chance of rain. Coffee's on.
It occurred to me that JBJingles is the first one of us to so thoroughly bedazzle her screen name: ™©JbJiNg!eŚ®™
Congratulations to WD both for her blessing and for getting Truth's head pieced back together again.
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
How much is a bomb?
My view on sending war troops and dropping bombs. I am multi-cultural and have lived in many countries, 3 different continents from as far as Australia, Africa and Asia in the last 30 years.
To sell peace – to convince a culture to change is by offering a mother and child access to our (American) culture by providing airline passage and a homestay at a midlle income home in the United States for at least two weeks. Visit the parks, schools, amusement parks, museums and malls. I belive it is cheaper to fill up a plane every week one group at a time. How much is a bomb ($25K), how much did it cost our military over the years? We learn about a country by reading or travel. Why should we expect or hope that peace will come if the people of this particular country have no knowledge of what the US is – and why a bomb is being dropped – to the majority of Afghans – the US would always appear to be the bad guys. So why not let the afghan woman, and child (the future adult Afghan) change the perception by showing them the lifestyle that the US is so proud off.
I gotz a Bomb for 'ya.....sniff my crack-This is a Food Blog,Keep this political B.S. out of here.
Nice!
Don't you justr hate it when people get political on a food blog...?
