8 years ago I brought a trailer load from El Paso TX of chocolate chips and bundled flour to this same Brooklyn industrial district. I had an address yet not one building had a sign or address posted on the buildings. After going around the block 3 times,a guy finally comes running out of a side door and stops me in the middle of the street. I'll unload you right here he said and proceeded to do it with cars backing up and honking plus the famous quotes about truck drivers in that special Brooklyneese. I will never forget that and Thanks for bringing this story about these people trying to make things better in this part of town. To be honest....It hasn't changed at all from the way I remember it.
