While you're frying up some eggs and bacon, we're cooking up something else: a way to celebrate today's food holiday and the most delicious finds on TV.

Today's food holiday has a certain appeal - March 2 is National Banana Cream Pie Day.

Like lemon cream pie, banana cream pie is known for its rich custard filling and towering whipped cream topping - but the fresh banana slices make for a pie you won’t want to throw in somebody’s face.
