While you're frying up some eggs and bacon, we're cooking up something else: a way to celebrate today's food holiday and the most delicious finds on TV. Get the sensation! February 11 is National Peppermint Patty Day. Introduced in York, Pennsylvania, by Henry C. Kessler, the peppermint patties that we know and love today have been on the market since the 1940s. Feeling really fresh? Try this brownie recipe from Real Simple: it combines our favorite chocolate treat with actual peppermint patties. We have a feeling that certain freckled-face Peanuts character would approve. What's on TV? “The Talk” – CBS, 2 p.m. ET “Cooking for Real” – Food Network, 4 p.m. ET “Treats of the Trade: Desserts” – Cooking Channel, 10 p.m. ET “Mystic Pizza” – TV Guide Network, 10 p.m. ET |

I have often debated who would be the better spouse, either Rachel Ray, who looks ok, and can cook up a storm, but can be loud, or Giada DeLaurentis, who is freakin GORGEOUS, but can only really do Italian (not my particular fav)...I am still thinkin Giada, and we can do a lot of takeout...
