While you're frying up some eggs and bacon, we're cooking up something else: a way to celebrate today's food holiday and the most delicious finds on TV.
Three ingredients: one feast. February 7 is National Fettuccine Alfredo Day.
The famous pasta dish is said to have been created in Rome’s Alfredo alla Scrofa in 1907. Though there are many variations, all you really need to make a basic fettuccine alfredo is fettuccine noodles, unsalted butter and Parmesan cheese. Add proteins, veggies and spices as you see fit.
And please, try to keep the slurping to a minimum.
