I do think if there is a regular ongoing relationship – hairdresser, bartender, it might be appropriate to tip extra for the holidays. I dont stop in the local bar much – so I dont have a "regular" bartender – and I tend to tip fairly well to begin with

God, the amount of Nutmeg you would have to ingest to get Hallucinogenic effects is enormous! If someone is going to use nutmeg to get a buzz...they need more help then anyone knows. Chances are you'd get sick, and expell it al from your system before getting any effects anyway.

It's nutmeg that was grown traditionally. Organic nutmeg has to be grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers.

Another salmonella recall. What in the world gives?

Yesterday, there was an article about giving the federal govt a broader hand in regulating farms in this country. Looks like to me we need to leave the small family farmer alone and regulate the slop that is being imported into this country.

Yup – that's what the bill is doing. More regs on imports and farms under $500k/yr won't have the same requirements as the big boys, per the Tester Amendment.

Thanks Kat for keeping us notified of all recalls. Don't know if this "New" safety bill will have any affect with all the earmarks attached but it is a start.
